Euscher opened his one-man business in Bielefeld on 1 st May 1924, doing sheet and forming work in a small workshop. Local industry was quick to recognize the potential offered by this small firm. By the early 1930s Euscher was able to move into industrial production of sheet-formed parts. These individually made products were much sought after. It soon became clear that the only way to meet the demand was to take on skilled workers. The workforce has grown steadily ever since. And as the product range expanded, so the customer structure changed. The main outlet was now the two-wheeler industry, which needed frame parts, tanks and mudguards.
Forerunner for the aerosol industry
When the aerosol can was launched on the European market in the mid-fifties, Euscher gave this innovation a boost by producing the can seal. Euscher was the first manufacturer to make the valve disk as a deep-drawn metal part, and it was that industrial mass production that triggered the rapid growth of Germany's aerosol industry. Even then, Euscher was continually developing new products, working in close collaboration with customers. Production technologies, too, were consistently developed. The firm moved into new areas of business, making packaging components for the cosmetics industry. Euscher lost no time in developing the necessary capacities for this application, so that this sector, too, came to rely on tailor-made products from Euscher.
New ideas for fresh impetus
Since the 1970s the product range has been systematically expanded with particular focus on products for technical applications. There is strong demand for this segment from both the electronics industry and the automotive industry, and Euscher GmbH enjoys above-average growth in this area. A second production facility has been opened in Bielefeld to cope successfully with the high demand levels. A fully developed logistics operation ensures that all the products are delivered on time.
Progress through development partnerships
We are long established as a leading European manufacturer with versatile product capacity for precision deep-drawn parts and complex assemblies made from a variety of metals. We also offer synergies through the combination of the metal deep drawing and plastic injection moulding techniques for metal/plastic hybrid parts. Integrated design and in-house tool making not only underpin the development and building of our production technology but also the continuing further development of our technological expertise: innovative know-how which is appreciated by our customers in this country and internationally.
