Our jobs requiring training.

What a surprise for commercial trainees: At our company, all trainees start their training together in the training workshop – regardless if you’re training for a commercial or technical job. In this introduction you will learn which parts we manufacture, how they’re manufactured, and why accuracy and being mechanically inclined are so important with precision deep drawing in metal. After the time together of course it’s on to the training elements for the job you selected.

Toolmaker.

Are maths and physics your thing? You think technical equipment and machinery are great? Then how about training to become a toolmaker?

What to expect? We need well-engineered tools for our machines to manufacture precision deep-drawn parts. Our toolmakers service and optimise these, install them and ensure we supply our customers with parts exactly as requested.

Tool assembly and testing, putting the tools into service, setting up series tools and servicing tools are all part of it. These tasks require you to be mechanically inclined. Having good visualising skills is also ideal. Then you can imagine what happens inside these tools during the metal forming process – which is quite fascinating.

You will train for a 3½ year under a dual training system - meaning that you will be based both here at our company and at a college. At college you will study the standard subjects of German, English, social studies and sport combined with job-related classes and special courses.

Management assistant in warehousing and logistics.

As a management assistant in warehousing and logistics, at our company your job will offer a lot of variety:

  • picking pallets or staging shipments
  • ensure delivery vehicles are loaded and unloaded efficiently
  • inspect the quality of deliveries

 – to name just a few of your tasks. Of course operating a forklift is also part of it. After all, our logistics department is also responsible for ensuring the correct quantities of the materials, which are used in production, are always at the machines at the right time. Following the production process you will properly stock the finished parts until despatched.

Cutting machine operator.

We design and manufacture the tools and spare parts used in production ourselves. There’s a separate department for this, the toolmaking department. And that’s where cutting machine operators work. If you want to get started in this job, you will need good instincts and dexterity. After all, precision and good technical intuition are extremely important here. Even minimal discrepancies in a part on a tool can have major effects in production. So you’re truly taking on responsibility.

As cutting machine operator you operate the various turning, grinding and milling machines in toolmaking. You process and inspect the parts and maintain the machines as needed. And since almost all of our machines (CNC) are computer-controlled and networked, you will be working with computers every day to program the production processes.
